Dear LMB Community,
We have some news to share. Unfortunately, our beloved Clubhouse is in rough shape and we are reaching out for help. During the cold snap in January, several pipes burst that led to extensive damage. We estimate $15,000 to $20,000 to repair and deal with mold issues. Our insurance claim was denied and so we are left to fund this ourselves. We are seeking support to get our Clubhouse back to a usable state.
With a little luck and hope, we were all looking forward to getting back to normal or close to normal this season, with our Clubhouse being a centre of fun, hot dogs and candy bags. Currently, we are a long way from this due to leaks in multiple areas and broken kitchen equipment.
We do this because we love our community and the baseball experience for the kids and families. We are hoping you can support our Clubhouse with a small or large donation via our GoFundMe page. Hopefully we can reach our goal and get the sweet smell of burgers and the sound of kids having fun going again in and around the Clubhouse.

President, Little Mountain Baseball
Dear LMB community,
My name is David St. James and I am excited to let you know that I am the new LMB President. We have a strong mix of returning and new members of the Board who were just recently elected at our Board Meeting November 23rd. We are all very excited to have a great season and leave a lasting impact for future LMB seasons!
This year our Board members are:
Executive Members
Board Members in non-executive functions:
On behalf of the Board, we’d like to thank Ulysses Yan for his efforts over the past season as President. He thankfully will continue assisting the LMB community as Registrar for the upcoming 2022 season.
We would also like to thank our board, families, coaches and volunteers for being able to run such a safe and successful 2021 baseball season during such challenging and unprecedented times. It hasn’t been easy at times over the past two seasons but we did it. Hopefully the upcoming season will be more close to normal. This past season was quite successful for Little Mountain. 784 players registered to play LMB baseball in 2021. It was great to see our little ones as T-ballers and Blastballers back on the field after a missed season in 2020. A very big win for LMB this past season was the Challenger Division was also able to play a full season. Not only did we have a successful Spring season LMB was able to participate in post-season play as well. Teams competed: 8 Selects, 9 Selects, 9/10 Allstars, 11 Selects and 11/12 Allstars. The 11/12 Allstars competed but came up short in a 2-0 loss in the District 1 final. Our 9/10 Allstars won the District 1 championship then made it all the way to the Provincial Final losing 2-0 to a worthy champion in Lynn Valley. Congratulations to all our post-season teams for competing while representing LMB very well. Both Summer Ball and Fall Programs were back on the field in 2021.
I want to provide special recognition to Carrie Cu who has been our do everything Registrar for the past 7 years. Carrie is stepping down from her role as Registrar, she will remain on the board as Director at large while carrying a few portfolios to ensure a successful season. Carrie was recognized by Little League Canada as the recipient of the Marthe Dubroy District Volunteer of the Year. We have been very fortunate to have Carrie's tireless effort to ensure our kids can play baseball.
Registration will open for all divisions by December 15th. We are very excited to plan for an upcoming 2022 season. As we mentioned earlier, as we hopefully return to close to normal, the Board is committed to having a great season and creating lasting impacts for our baseball community.
If you are interested in volunteering to support the program there are great opportunities small and large. We also want to share there are great opportunities to profile your business to a large and impactful community, please let us know if you are interested as we are ramping-up our donations and sponsorships again. Opportunities are limited so let us know ASAP. Please email me if you are interested (president@littlemountainbaseball.com)!
Thank you,
David St. James
Little Mountain Little League President
As many of you know, LMB is an organization run primarily by volunteers. Without the dedicated commitments of our members and volunteers, our league would not be able to service the more than 800 kids and their families that make up the LMB community.
Opportunities to volunteer can take many forms. Volunteers are needed each year to help with specific events, such as our Opening Day, Photo Day and Closing Day. In addition, we are looking for qualified volunteers to continue to help administer and run our league.
For a description of our volunteer positions, please click here. Not all of these positions require you to be a director and not all of these rolls need to be filled by a specific person.
Find out more about how our league is run and how you can participate -- we are all volunteers. LMB needs your support!
If you're interested in helping out as a volunteer, please email registrar@littlemountainbaseball.com.
