COACHES AND TEAM MANAGERS

Criminal Record Checks

In order to protect the children who participate in Little Mountain Baseball's programs, Little League Canada and the Board of Little Mountain Baseball requires a Criminal Record Check for all LMB Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, All-Star or Tournament Team Coaches and Managers, as well as all LMB Board Members at least once every THREE years.

Criminal Record Checks may be completed via the Ministry of Justice at no cost to you.  Please contact dirops@littlemountainbaseball.com for an invite to the criminal check from the Ministry of Justice via email. On a few occasions, you may need to go to the Vancouver Police Department for finger-printing. LMB will reimburse the cost of the CRC in these instances.

Coaches/Assistant Coaches are also required to submit an online Coaching Application.

All information will be held in strict confidence.

Respect in Sport

All coaches of teams from Mini-Minor A and higher will be required to complete the Respect-in-Sport course.  This is an online course that takes approximately two hours to complete.  LMB will reimburse you for the cost of taking the course.

If you have already completed the course you can share the result with LMB, no need to take it again.  We are currently in the process of setting this up; coaches will be notified when it's ready.
