Please note the following deadlines for registration:
Majors A, Majors B, Minors (assessments required) -Registration closed January 31st, 2019. CLOSED.
Mini-Minor A (assessments required) - Registration closed February 23rd, 2019. CLOSED.
Mini-Minor B, T-Ball & Blastball -Registration closed February 28th, 2019. CLOSED.
There is a $25 late fee ($10 for Blastball & Tball) for all registrants placed off the waitlist.
Skill assessments are MANDATORY for all players who wish to play in Mini Minor A, Minors, Majors B, or Majors A. NO evaluation process is applicable for Blastball, T-Ball, Mini Minor B or Challenger.
The assessment process has three primary goals:
(1) to place players in the appropriate division based on skill, emotional level and safety considerations
(2) to facilitate the drafting of teams in Minors, Majors B, and Majors A
(3) to assist in the formation of evenly skilled teams in Mini Minor A.
Please note that registering in one division does not guarantee placement in that division. We cannot guarantee that non-attendees will be placed in the division they are registered for. Please plan accordingly and we thank you for your understanding. If you have a serious time conflict, please email the Registrar immediately with the subject line "Majors/Minors assessment conflict".
**For players who wish to play in MINORS AND HIGHER and have a last name beginning with M-Z, your assessment date is Saturday, January 26th, 2019. Please arrive within the specified time based on your baseball age.
**For players who wish to play in MINORS AND HIGHER and have a last name beginning with A-L, your assessment date is Saturday, February 2nd, 2019. Please arrive within the specified time based on your baseball age.

Baseball 9 and 10s: 6:15-7:30pm
(born September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2010)
Baseball 11 and 12s: 7:45-9:00pm
(born September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2008)
**For players who wish to play in MINI MINOR A:
For players who wish to play in MINI MINOR A: Mini Minor A is the first division in Little Mountain Baseball where assessments are required. Assessments will be in February on a date and time TBD.
To be eligible to play with Little Mountain Baseball, your child must meet certain two requirements.
Little League Canada has divided Canada up into Leagues with clearly defined boundaries. In our District (District 1), there are four Little Leagues: Little Mountain, Kerrisdale, Dunbar, and Jericho.
If your player wants to play the competitive All Stars tournaments (9/10 or 11/12) or Selects tournaments that take place each year following the regular season, then he/she must play for his or her home league. It can be very disappointing for a child and his/her family to discover they aren't eligible for All Stars/Selects when they reach the age of 9 or 10 because they have been playing out of boundary.
If you do not live or attend school within Little Mountain Baseball's boundaries, please check the following for the Little League program in your area:
Payment may be made by credit card only. If you wish to pay by cheque or cash please contact the Registrar for further instructions. All payments are to be made in Canadian dollars.
Financial assistance may be available through various organizations. Please contact the Registrar for further information.
All players must be registered to attend assessments (where applicable). Your child will not be placed on a team until registration is complete. Registration is not considered complete until payment is received in full.
Withdrawal of players after team formation and season start is disruptive to the league team, the players, and additional player applicants that otherwise would have selected or placed a team. Our refund policy is there to encourage player stability after the season start.
Prior to January 31st (for Majors A, Majors B, Minors), February 22nd (for Mini Minor A, Mini Minor B, Tball, Blastball), a full refund of fees, less a $25 administration charge will be available to withdrawing players.
From February 1st to February 12th, (Majors AA, Majors A, Majors B, Minors) only half of the registration fee will be refunded to withdrawing players. After February 13th, no refunds will be provided other than for medical reasons.
From February 23rd to March 2nd, (Mini Minor A), only half of the registration fee will be refunded to withdrawing players. After March 2nd, no refunds will be provided other than for medical reasons.
From February 23rd to March 31st (Mini Minor B, Tball, Blastball), only half of the registration fee will be refunded to withdrawing players. After March 31st, no refunds will be provided other than for medical reasons.
Refunds for medical reasons will be pro-rated (less a $25 administration charge) based on when the illness/injury occurred within the season. A medical note will be required.
Requests for refunds must be made via email to the Registrar. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used at registration. Should the initial Credit Card be invalid a cheque will be issued to the original purchaser.
If you have moved out of Little Mountain Baseball's boundaries families must notify the Registrar with their change of address. To remain eligible to participate on an LMB All Star or Tournament team players must provide at least 3 pieces of Little League Canada approved identification, showing their previous address within LMB's boundaries in order to submit a request to District 1 and Little League Canada for permission to play.
Little Mountain is proud to announce that we will be partnering with UBC and offering winter baseball camps for LMB kids ages 8-12. Along with this being an opportunity for the kids to improve their skills we will be providing an opportunity for our volunteer coaches to improve their skills as well.
The camp times and dates are the following:
The camps will start on January 8th and the final day will be March 13th.
The camps will take place at the indoor baseball facility located on the UBC campus. UBC will be providing 2 coaches for each session and LMB will be adding our own experienced coaches along with the coaches that come out to learn each week.
Cost to register a player for this camp is $350 and includes and hat and T-shirt from UBC. There is is no cost to participate as a coach.
The normal cost for UBC 10 week camps is $450 but at LMB we understand that the costs to play baseball are already great so the league will be paying $100 for each player.
