2023-24 Board of Directors

This year the LMB board welcomed a number of new members. We are grateful for the contributions of our volunteer board members. Please find below a list of board members,  a description of their roles and  links to their emails.

The LMB board attempts to meet monthly. Active members in good standing of Little Mountain Baseball may attend board meetings, if they have a specific issue they wish to bring to the board for discussion.   If you would like to attend a board meeting, please contact the board Secretary to confirm the meeting time and location and have your item added to the Agenda for discussion.

Executive Committee

President – Robert Mah Ming
Makes major operational decisions and spokesperson for the League. Participates in the creation and implementation of the strategic plan.  Serves as the contact for board issues.

Vice President – Vincenzo De Palma
Advisor to President and Parks’ Board Liaison.  In the absence of President, acts as such. Works with the President to provide leadership and direction to the Board.  Reports to Board on any Parks Board related news/matters.

Secretary – Bram Rogachevsky
Communicates with Board, records all activities/minutes for Board meetings and AGM.  Maintains sufficient familiarity with legal documents to advise Board on legal matters.

Treasurer (interim) – James Fairweather
Keeps financial records, prepares budgets and financial reports for AGM.  Oversees all revenues and expenses, creates financial statements and communicates this information to the Board.  Acts as an official signer for the League.

Board Operations Volunteers

Challenger Program Coordinator – Kimberly MacAulay
Responsible for managing LMB’s Challenger Program, which provides children with cognitive or physical disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of participation in baseball at a level structured to their abilities.

Communications Coordinator – Sophia Lee
Responsible for managing messaging to membership and coordinates with other operations volunteer coordinators to ensure a consistent dissemination of information.

Division Coordinator – Audrey White (Interim)
Provides guidance and support to all division coordinators. Communicates information to division coordinators to share with teams and families in their respective divisions.

Equipment and Uniforms Coordinator – Tyler Redpath
All equipment and uniform related responsibilities such as ordering, distributing and collecting uniforms and league equipment.

Facilities Coordinator – Andis Yu
Maintenance and upkeep of all LMB facilities such as fields, clubhouse, concessions, stands, scoreboards, sound systems etc.

Facilities Special Projects Coordinator – Jure Krpan
Works with Facilities Coordinator on special events/projects such as renovation or construction.

Girls in Baseball Coordinator – Kristine Hagen
Promoting the participation and retention of girls in baseball.  Ensuring smooth delivery of the program.

Head Coach AND Safety Coordinator – Steve Nantel
Provide support and guidance to all coaching volunteers so that players can have the best experience possible while adopting a mentorship philosophy.  Responsible for the safety of players and coaches while playing games.

Merchandise Coordinator – Brent Jackson
Responsible for ordering and distributing LMB fanwear and maintaining the LMB Fanwear/store.

Player’s Agent Coordinator – Lee Iverson
Acts as an advocate for any player when the player/family needs help voicing their concerns to a team official or League.

Player Development Coordinator – Brad Dorwart
Works with the Head Coach to lead player development, including coaching and creating development programs/clinics to enhance player skills.

Post Season Coordinator – Matt McClean & Nicki Black
Coordinates logistics for post-season assessments, tournaments, exhibition games, field scheduling, and assists with communications for post season. 

Registrar – Kyle Chuang
Responsible for league registration, creation of spring season team rosters, and is the first point of contact for any registration related questions. 

Scheduling Coordinator – Doug Weibel
Scheduling and rescheduling all games and practices, for all divisions, on all fields, for regular, pre and post-season and tournament play.  Responsible for maintaining synchronicity between Assignr and game schedules on LMB website. 

Sponsorship & Social Media Coordinator – Vassi Balatico
Develop and distribute sponsorship packages.  Solicit, follow up and secure any opportunities. Manage social media posts to share news and promote LMB.

Umpire in Chief – James Fairweather
Responsible for recruiting/retaining umpires and developing any training/clinics as required to ensure we have enough well-trained umpires.  Responsible for scheduling umpires for games. 

Webmaster Coordinator – Richard Pan
Managing the LMB website to ensure information is posted in a timely manner.  

League Staff

Operations Manager – Audrey White
Responsible for overseeing the administration of the league, by working in collaboration with all Board Operations Volunteers/Coordinators to ensure the smooth functioning of the league.  Is the first point of contact for general questions from the community, acting as a liaison between LMB families, the Board Executive and Volunteer Coordinators. The position maintains line of sight to all the moving parts of LMB and enables the league’s success through strong organization and collaboration.   

Note that all board members are volunteers, only the Operations Manager is a part-time paid employee.
